If you would like to come and see Tim Black, Accredited Practicing Dietitian in one of our clinics across the Sunshine Coast or Gympie please give us a call to arrange an appointment. Some rebates do apply but we may need a referral from your GP. Below is some information on what you may need in order to get a rebate:
Information on rebates
Medicare:
If you have a chronic disease and have a management plan with your GP you could be eligible for five allied health appointments each calendar year. Access Allied Health bulk bills all EPC appointments which means there is no out of pocket cost for you. Ask your GP for an EPC referral to see a dietitian.
DVA
DVA gold cards or a white card with an accepted disability are accepted as payment with an appropriate GP referral to see a dietitian. We are also able to see DVA clients at home in some locations.
Private Health Insurance
Some private health funds will provide rebates for allied health services. Contact your health fund directly to obtain this information. Our dietitian will provide you with the appropriate tax receipt to assist you with your claim.
Not eligible for a rebate
If you are not eligible for specific medicare or DVA rebates but would like to see our dietitian, please contact us to book in directly, no referral is necessary.
